Since this site is an amalgam of my previous personal and author sites, you’re going to find content here not only related to my books and my professional tech credentials, but also content related to my major hobbies: music, taking photos with my iPhone, and gaming.

So here’s some pointers to my personal hobby content here on the site!

gaming: I have a pretty long history of being a gamer, starting way back when playing Nethack, proceeding to spend several years on online text RPGs called MUSHes, and most recently, falling in love with the Elder Scrolls games and with my Steam Deck

music: Because I play several instruments and own even more than I play on a regular basis

photos: I take a bunch of pictures with my iPhone and iPad, and sometimes I post them here
